Description

English as a subject focus on developing the core skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing to enable effective communication in diverse contexts. Computer

Description

This comprehensive course provides students with practical, hands-on training in essential computer applications and multimedia production tools used in modern professional environments. Emphasis is placed on developing proficiency in word processing, data entry and analysis , layout design, graphic design, video editing, basic computer networking and Essential computer maintenance skills. This course is designed to provide students with essential IT skills to proficiently manage IT-related concerns in a workplace. Upon completion, learners will possess a versatile skill set applicable across a variety of industries and workplace settings.

Social Science

Description

The Social Science course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of key areas in social studies, including the introduction to social science, ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations), economic development, natural resource management, politics, and the sociology of religion. This course explores the interconnectedness of societies, economies, and political systems while emphasizing the role of cultural, environmental, and religious factors in shaping global and local issues. Community Development

Description

This course provides an overview of non-profit organization management and operations, covering human resource management, diversity, recruitment, compensation, training, and performance evaluation. It emphasizes fundraising, financial management, and introduces a Participatory Planning Cycle and tools for community development. Students learn collaborative problem-solving and active listening. The course also introduces Project Cycle Management, focusing on needs assessment, resource evaluation, project planning, and monitoring and evaluation using logical frameworks for successful project implementation.

Research Methodology

Description

This course provides a comprehensive guide to the principles and practices of academic research. Students will learn the complete research cycle, from identifying a topic and setting objectives to data collection and analysis using both quantitative and qualitative methods. Key skills include conducting literature reviews, data analysis, and writing professional research papers. Upon completion, students will be prepared to independently design, conduct, and communicate rigorous, ethical research in their field.

Internship

Description

The 3-Month Community Internship Program is designed to equip Level Up Academy students with hands-on experience in community work, fostering the development of essential skills, capacities, and confidence needed for their professional journeys. Through meaningful service in partnership with community-based or civil society organizations, students gain practical insights into real-world challenges while making a positive impact in their local communities. This internship program is intended to serve as a vital bridge between academic learning and vocational careers, providing students with a strong foundation for their post-graduation endeavors.
