Our History

Level Up College was founded in 2012 by a team of inspired youth from Kayah/Karenni State under the guidance of Bishop Sotero Phamo. The college was established through the partnership with the Myanmar Community Academies Program (MCAP) under the Thabyay Foundation, with the recommendation and support of the Youth Life Formation Center (YLFC) and collaborative efforts from various community leaders.

Initially, Level Up College was launched as an extension program of YLFC in Loikaw and was named YLFC-Level Up Program. In 2013, it was officially registered as Level Up Academy with the Township Education Ministry Office.
